Hi. Welcome to my page. I'm excited you're here and look forward to offering you a space where you can be held. After 20 years in the wellness industry as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Holistic Health Practitioner, and Esthetician, I opened a plant shop during the pandemic when my fondness for houseplants turned into a pandemic hobby and loved the connection I felt with other plant lovers. ​Soon after, we started offering popups and workshops while we worked on building out the spa in back, and Bosk quickly grew into an inclusive healing haven for those seeking refuge, connection, and community. 

 

Here's a little "About Me"....

In 2002 Laura pursued her education with Michael Eakin at Body Tune-Up School of Massage in California. There she studied Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Craniosacral, Lymphatic Drainage, Intraoral Massage, Tuina, Qi Gong  & Reiki, and became a Reiki Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist.

​She later attended Holistic Life Institute in 2006, where she continued studying both Eastern and Western healing modalities including herbal remedies and applications, and became a certified Holistic Health Practitioner. She then went on to teach massage therapy classes before making her move up to Portland in 2008, where she continued learning and working with a variety of health practitioners, adding new techniques and modalities to her tool belt including Gua-Sha and Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage.)

Laura is a lifelong student and her passion for herbs and their use in skincare broadened as she played around with making her own natural products and in 2017 Laura became a Licensed Esthetician. On this path she reconnected with the lymphatic system and began incorporating lymphatic drainage into her skincare practice.

Today, Bosk is a one-woman run show. Tucked behind the plant shop is a hidden spa, aka "The Jungle Room" where you can find Laura offering holistic services, sending her clients off with a complete glow. She is currently offering Reiki facials and buccal massage to help sculpt the facial tissue and keep the lymphatic system working optimally. When not at Bosk she's out exploring Oregon with her partner Jeff and their dogs Nacho and Lola. She looks forward to welcoming you in.
