SPA POLICY

By booking your appointment at Bosk you are agreeing you have read through and agree to our policy below. 
We also get lots of questions about our spa services and we are happy to answer them for you.

 

ONLY $65? WHY SO LOW?
This is our introductory price we offer all new clients for a one hour massage or facial. It's a chance to give us a try and see that what you're getting is worth much more. If you are unable to keep your appointment, you are welcome to rebook but your intro price will be forfeited. Please know that our practitioners work hard to bring you this price and it is not a sustainable amount for us to do long-term. However, we do offer a discount program to our regulars to try and keep these self-care services accessible and affordable. Our providers depend on gratuity so please tip accordingly.
 
HOW DOES YOUR DISCOUNT PROGRAM WORK?
If you are interested in becoming one of our regulars, we offer $20 off your service for anything that is booked at least every 4 weeks. Just let us know and we will set you up on our end. By signing up for our discounted rates you are agreeing to auto-rebooking for a recurring time that works for you within 4 weeks of your appointment. If you ever need to cancel or reschedule, please see our cancellation policy. If you miss the appointment or do not reschedule within the 4 week period, you will not receive the rate for your next scheduled visit. If you'd like to cancel the discount program please send an email to boskpdx@gmail.com.

HOW MUCH NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE? WHAT IF I'M RUNNING LATE?
We understand things come up. Please communicate ASAP if you are unable to keep your appointment. If you are able to reschedule within 6 days of your appointment, your monthly discount will still be honored but there are no guarantees on availability.Please allow 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid being charged. 24 hours notice will result in a 50% charge and anything less will be 100% of the service charge. Please take care of yourselves and be well to avoid this. If you are running more than 5 mins late without calling or texting, a $20 late fee will be applied. Anything more than 20 mins will need to be rescheduled and you will be charged for the full appointment.

WHAT IS YOUR COVID POLICY?
With allergy season in full affect, many of us will have some seasonal congestion. But with Covid 19 and it's variants still being a threat, it is required that you test negative before coming in if you have had recent symptoms. Masks are not required but your practitioner will be masked during treatment.

WHAT ABOUT WEATHER CONDITIONS?
Snow in Portland?! Yeah, it happens occasionally. Usually, just a light dusting that clears within a few days. If it is unsafe to drive, we don't want you to worry about trying to get to us. Please reschedule your appointment within a week or when there are safer driver conditions and you will not be charged for your appointment.

DO YOU OFFER COUPLES MASSAGE?
Unfortunately, we only have one small spa room at the moment and are unable to accommodate multiple appointments at one time.  


SHOULD I WASH MY FACE PRIOR TO MY FACIAL?
Sometimes it's just not possible and that's okay! But if you have the option to do so, showing up makeup-free with a fresh and clean face is best. We'll take care of the rest.

CAN I ADD ON TREATMENTS DURING MY SESSION?
Yes! Please make a note with your appointment letting us know which add on's you're interested in. But we will do our best to accommodate any last minute add-ons given the time we have. We have lots of wonderful options to choose from.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REBOOK?
As often as you like! But depending on your needs, 2-4 weeks is customary. Since our products are plant based, they are gentle on your skin but we also offer other skin therapies to help achieve the results you want. Haircare is recommended every 4-8 weeks, depending on your hair. Please talk to your provider to come up with the best plan for you. We offer great discounts to our regular clients so make sure to take advantage of those.
 
DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?
As much as we'd like to accommodate everyone, we cannot offer refunds on services or products at this time. 

WHAT IS CUSTOMARY FOR GRATUITY?
Show your love! What to tip for a facial is much like tipping a server at a restaurant. At least 20% is customary, but base it off the provider's performance and feel free to do more if the service was exceptional. We do our best to make self-care accessible and affordable; if you can do more please do! It means a lot to a small business.

CAN I SHOP AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?
We love that you love plants as much as we do! We always open our plant shop up to our clients so please feel free to shop around before or after your appointment if time permits.

CAN I LEAVE A GOOGLE REVIEW?
You sure can! We love reading them and Google reviews are our favorite compliment as they really do help small businesses like us in getting the online recognition we need to keep going.
